DIVERSITY and outreach plan
Costa Constantinides has a plan to expand the office’s accessibility, protect immigrant communities, and prioritize Census outreach to ensure every resident is counted. Constantinides’ plan is anchored by a new Department of Diversity and Outreach, which would oversee satellite offices throughout the borough along with other major initiatives.
Costa Constantinides has a plan to make Queens’ public spaces fully accessible for people with disabilities, the elderly, and parents with strollers. For too long, vital institutions like libraries and subway entrances have been a challenge to navigate because of a failure to prioritize the needs of our disabled and vulnerable populations.
